1. Girl With Curves
Let’s face it, models’ body types are far from reality. Slim people do exist in real life, but there are women with bigger sizes who could look just as good. People come in all shapes and sizes, though many of us have been conditioned to believe that for fashion, only one body type is ideal.
This is the mentality that Girl With Curves hopes to break. Tanesha Awasthi founded Girl With Curves in 2011 for the everyday person who isn’t a size 0 or 2. The blog describes itself as an “award-winning blog made possible by people who believe women deserve to look and feel beautiful, regardless of weight, shape or size.”
Tanesha has become a favorite plus-sized fashion blogger in the industry since she started the blog. She said she tries to help women-mostly big-size women-build up their confidence and self-esteem through fashion.
The blog covers trends, style tips, beauty advice, plus parenting and wellness. Their hashtag #StyleHasNoSize campaigns their idea of fashion and style belonging to everybody, no matter the size.
In 2021, the Girl With Curves at QVC collection that boasts of pieces genuinely inclusive in size was born.
2. My Fash Diary
According to Tala Samman, a blog creator and editor, fashion is “what others declare is in,” while style, which is more personal, is “what you declare is in.” My Fash Diary serves as Tala’s personal style diary, often posting about things she loves, what she wears, the hottest trends in Dubai and in the cities where she travels, among others.
Dubai-based Tala, née Chicago, of Syrian descent, introduces us to the fashion and styles of the Middle East. Though the name of this blog would suggest that it is heavy on the fashion, Tala blogs about beauty, food, and travel, too.
My Fash Diary has gained international recognition and nominations at some of the top awarding events such as Marie Claire, Twitter, UK Blog, Ahlan! Magazine’s Best at the Dubai awards. She was cited in 2011 to be among Dubai’s Hot 100, and has been recognized in prestigious publications like Grazia UK, Grazia Middle East, Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, and Marie Claire Middle East.
3. Hello Fashion
Hello Fashion by Colombian-American blogger Christine Andrew is a body of work that ranges in topic from fashion, all the way to beauty, family lifestyle, and even travel.

Christine is an icon of style, gracing Vanity Fair’s Best-Dressed List. Ironically, she was once denied admission into a fashion design school-it was due to this denial that she took to fighting her journey in the fashion industry.

4. One Dapper Street
Fashion blogs, at least when one thinks about the subject, are exclusively for women. Fashion is not for one gender. There is much about fashion that has nothing to do with skirts or dresses. One such blog that shows fashion from the male perspective is One Dapper Street. This blog is the online home of Marcel Floruss – “a German dude who loves fashion and all that goes with it.” Fashion is what drives Marcel; from Germany to New York City.
A former model, Marcel went to fashion school in New York. As he was studying for his bachelor’s degree, he wanted to do something with the way men dress and how they perceive fashion as feminine.
On One Dapper Street, Marcel has incorporated his two other passions: photography and shopping. The name, as it were, suggests that the blog offers a mix of dapper and street styles for the modern man.
The blog comprises hundreds of image-heavy posts on a wide variety of style-and-lifestyle topics of interest to men.
5. Glamazon Diaries
Glamazon Diaries is the ultimate combination of fashion, beauty, lifestyle, travel, wellness, and a dash of wedding planning. One of the first fashion bloggers in the Washinton D.C. area, Glamazon Diaries was founded in 2007 by its fashionable founder, Makeda Saggau-Sackey. As a body positive blogger, Saggau-Sackey is devoted to empowering women of all shapes and sizes to feel beautiful in their own skin, and affordable at that.
“Fashion is not just something you wear,” says *Billionaire*. “It’s the disposition, the attitude.” Given her own distinctive approach to fashion—one of her passions is photography—it is no surprise that she agreed to take part in the *Glamazon Diaries*’ publication of the ‘Wedding’ segment.
Fashion is “not just putting pretty pictures and
