Colour in fashion has always fascinated me, with a focus on colour blocking and tonal dressing in particular. It’s a beautiful thing when it’s done right and the colours complement each other in perfect harmony; it’s like an indulgence for the eyes. When it’s right, it has the ability to make even the simplest of styles simply sublime—and then it can be jarring and confusing if it’s wrong.

It is a skill that might seem difficult to have, but it is simply experimentation. One other favourite way that I like to spend a rainy day is experimenting with different colour combinations that I can wear. I find items that I haven’t worn together yet and try them on. A tip is that there should be a maximum of three colours in your attire. First, there is your main colour that is comprised of most of your outfit. Then there is your secondary colour that is comprised of a third. After that, there is your accent colour that is a small portion of your outfit.
